PERSIA, Alexandrine Empire. Uncertain satraps of Babylon, circa 322-312 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.00 g, 9 h). Baaltars seated left, holding scepter in his right hand and placing his left on throne; to left, M. Rev. ΛY Lion walking left. BMC 24. Nicolet-Pierre 9.1d and pl. 29, 9.1. (this coin). Beautifully toned and with a very attractive lion. A few light scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
